Exevery Release Notes & Changelog

Exevery separates macOS application releases (kind = "app") from VM/Metal runtime compatibility revisions (kind = "runtime"). Under Decision 5A, hotfix patches (x.y.*) for your owned app version and all runtime revisions remain eligible even after your 1-year feature update window (updates_until).

App Release 1.2.0 (2026-10-21)

• Added Ed25519 local signed entitlement cache verification with 7-day offline grace window.
• Implemented Decision 2A 14-day Compatibility Mode trial on first Compatibility Mode action.
• Added Decision 3A per-component R2 presigned download verification and SHA-256 checks.
• Published notarized Apple Silicon installer (Exevery-1.2.0-arm64.dmg, SHA-256: 3a7bd3e2360a3d29eea436fcfb7e44c735d117c42d1c1835420b6b9942dd4f1b).

Runtime Revision 2026-10-21 (prefex-vz-ubuntu-24.04-arm64-fex-wine-v2)

• Updated ARM64 Linux kernel (vmlinuz), initrd.img, and rootfs.img (version 2.1.0).
• Always eligible for all users under Decision 5A (always_allowed_under_5a: true).
